You will be an integral member of a Software Engineering Team, supporting our Research and Development strategy that delivers innovative hi-tech solutions to our customers. 

  • 12 months internship in our Software Engineering Team
  • Global Head office for Spectroscopy Division

As an Intern, you will apply the knowledge and education you have gained to develop software in the context of Agilent"s Spectroscopy division.

Specific tasks may include:

  • You will work on project(s) that are focused on providing significant benefit to customers. You will work with experienced software engineers to develop this software.
  • You will work with other engineering disciplines, marketing and support teams to ensure the solutions cater to the customer's requirements.
  • You will develop a sense of the commitment to and work environment of Agilent. This will facilitate you to build a career in engineering that focuses on providing value to our customers.

Desired skills:

  • Languages: C# and/or C/C++
  • UI development with WPF , MVC/MVVM and Winforms
  • Web services such as Javascript/Jquery/HTML/CSS
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, self motivated and self directing

Useful but not essential:

  • SQL
  • Knowledge of networking such as TCP/IP

Area of Study Preferred:

  • The degree will be aimed at the software engineering discipline at an Australian University
  • No more than one year to go on your University degree.
