Position Objectives:

Automation Engineer is responsible to lead automation practices ensuring utmost quality standards for the software products being developed for our customers.

Key Relationships:

Automation Engineer would need to maintain relationships with Client Manager, Business Analysts, Development team & other agile scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities:

The Automation Engineer is responsible for:

  • Working as a part of fast paced agile scrum teams ensuring quality standards in continuous integration environment.
  • Developing manual & automation test cases for business requirements.
  • Implementing the best practices of Automation using programming language techniques.
  • Performing various types of testing involving Analytics, Accessibility, Mobility, Cross Browser & Cross Platform testing.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensuring zero defect delivery with defect prevention & detection techniques.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery by leveraging early automation.
  • Implementing the best practices & widely reusable processes for software testing.

Position Specification:

Qualifications, Experience & Specialist Skills:

The Automation Engineer possesses:

  • Must be enrolled in a degree in Computer Science at an Australian University
  • Assignments/Hands-on during degree course on Programming.
  • Knowledge and skills pertaining to the discipline of a software programmer.
  • Skills to implement Object Oriented (OOPS) concepts into automation code development.

Management Skills:

The Automation Engineer must be able to:

  • Coordinate with delivery team and stakeholders to interpret the business requirements & establish Software testing goals.
  • Accomplish on-time delivery of business requirements from Software Testing perspective.

Interpersonal Skills:

The Automation Engineer must be able to:
