Racing and Wagering WA (RWWA) is a dynamic, versatile and commercial Organisation that operates in meeting and furthering the needs of the Racing and Wagering Industry in Western Australia. RWWA fosters the development, promotes the welfare and ensures the integrity of metropolitan and country Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound racing. RWWA covers approximately 54,000 races year spread across the three codes, and also supports over 320 TAB retail outlets across Western Australia.

 

We are seeking a talented individual with good technical and communication skills to join our team in Perth to undertake DevOps automation work.  You will bring your innovative thinking and ideas to help build a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.  You’ll be confident in scripting/coding, willing to learn new languages and familiar with cloud technologies.

 

Working within a team focused on quality and delivery, you’ll learn latest technologies while helping accelerate the value being delivered.  You will be given opportunities to work with many agile teams and learn from passionate, knowledgeable and experienced colleagues.

 

Your interests will be in scripting languages such as Python and Powershell and you’ll have an understanding of restful APIs, source control, modern networks and agile principles.  Persistence and hard work will be some of your defining characteristics as you push past any challenges with skill, determination and teamwork.

Applicants should be working towards a formal qualification in Information Technology or related Disciplines at an Australian University.
