The ACS Foundation is a national provider of scholarships for education and research in IT has a proactive policy of developing chapters in each state and territory.

These chapters consist of leading ICT professionals who give their support and networking skills to gain funding to support scholarships within their particular state.

The launch in 2002 of the WA chapter of the ACS Foundation was an important step forward for the integration of the Foundation's work at state level. The Foundation is currently discussing chapters in other states and hopes to finalise commitments over the next few years
