| A Residual Gift
If you wish to leave the balance of your estate to the ACS Foundation
Trust Fund, after all other debts and gifts have been paid, the provision
in your Will could take the following form: (After you have made any provision
in your Will for say, family, and friends)
I give ______________________________ [insert the amount as a whole number
OR the residual of my estate], free of all duties and deductions,
to:
- The Australian Computer Society Foundation Trust Fund (ABN 71 240
445 733) of Level 3, 160 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000; or
- To the extent that the gift fails, to a charitable organisation or
organisations in Australia which my executors consider to pursue objectives
similar to The Australian Computer Society Foundation Trust Fund.
The receipt of the person purporting to be the treasurer, secretary or
other proper officer of the Australian Computer Society Foundation or
the charitable organisation referred to in paragraph (b) is a sufficient
discharge to the Trustee and the Trustee need not see the application
of the payment or application.
A Percentage of Your Estate
Expressing your gift as a percentage of your estate allows for the fact
that the value of your assets may change substantially during your lifetime.
If you wish to leave part of your estate to the Australian Computer Society
Foundation Trust Fund the provisor of your Will could take the following
form:
I give __________________________________ [insert the percentage amount
of my estate], free of all duties and deductions, to:
- The Australian Computer Society Foundation Trust Fund (ABN 71 240
445 733) of Level 3, 160 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000; or
- To the extent that the gift fails, to a charitable organisation or
organisations in Australia which my executors consider to pursue objectives
similar to The Australian Computer Society Foundation Trust Fund.
