Duties & Responsibilities

  • Primarily Web data analyst visualisation on large data sets

  • Learn how to manage the client and partner agencies for content development, site optimisation, link building, content marketing, community management and insights and reporting throughout campaign periods

  • Learn how to coordinate approvals within the organisation' Marketing and managerial functions

  • Work with the senior management team to deliver SEO and inbound marketing strategies for the business

  • Work closely with stakeholders throughout the business and learn the importance of Inbound marketing and SEO

In addition, while at In Marketing We Trust, you will learn to:

    The Role

    Your role as our Data Analyst Intern helps fulfil key reporting requirement of a large scale ecommerce function, the reports address broad areas of the business including consumer, operational, financial & web analytics data. An important function of the role is to maintain an existing library of reports and the underlying reporting framework. Exciting opportunities exist to further develop the reporting framework to generate cross functional insights.

    Your key responsibilities will include the following:

    • Creation and maintenance of in depth reports to add value and insights to operational & consumer centric business initiatives
    • Distribution of scheduled and ad-hoc report requests from a variety of business stakeholders
    • Maintain data quality by designing, executing or managing appropriate test scripts

    The Person

    As our Data Analyst Intern you will have solid understanding/experience in one or more of these:

    1. Database interrogation using a range of software tools (e.g. SQL, CRM, Tableau)

    2. Analytics reporting tools like Adobe.

    3. A quick learner with strong communication skills.

    4. Commercially focused with the ability to translate complex data in to actionable insights.

    5. Knowledge in Business Intelligence, Big Data and web analytics products will be highly regarded.

    The Scholarship amounts to $32k for undergraduate students and $36k for postgraduate students tax free, which will be paid fortnightly over the 12 month period.
