Role Description

The major responsibilities of the role include:

  • Liaise with business units and technical stakeholders to analyse and understand business/systems requirements and solve complex problems

  • Preparation of key project documentation such as business requirements document, functional specifications, report specifications, change control and user guides

  • Acting as a first point of call for information requests related to projects

  • Software Testing

  • Co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing with end users and project team members across Australia and New Zealand

  • Preparation and execution of test plans.

  • Preparation of training guides and end user documentation

  • Undertake regular operational tasks with the flexibility to switch between project and operational work at a moment's notice

  • Working on multiple projects at any one time will also be a fundamental day to day activity

The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project development lifecycle and analysis of our client's future requirements.


Required Skills/Knowledge

The key selection criteria for this position are as follows:

  • Advanced written and oral skills in the English language.

  • Proven documentation skills for IT Projects

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint

  • Any knowledge of SQL reporting, Business Intelligence Reporting or relational databases would be advantageous

  • Any knowledge of ERP systems such as Navison would be advantageous

  • Experience with software testing, preparation of test plans and / or functional requirements would be highly regarded

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from an Australian University, graduated no earlier than 2016.


The salary amount is $44,464.45 including superannuation p.a. for 12 months full-time.
