Job Description

The Service Desk and IT Support Intern will be the first point of call for the service desk, to assist their clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues.  The intern will have to create a ticket for each call and accurately record the time taken whilst working on the ticket.  They will need to ensure all steps to resolve are recorded in the ticket and create documentation on issues as required. 

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have excellent command of the English language in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot Level 1 tasks
  • Aware of the need to escalate when required

Desired Experience/Business Skills

  • Ability to talk to clients using easy to understand methods
  • Possess a thirst for learning and professional development


Studying towards a degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology / Information Systems or similar

This scholarship amounts to $17,000 (tax free) for an Undergraduate working 37.5 hours for 6 months.
