ILUKA RESOURCES LTD - Infrastructure / Document Management Intern

Iluka Resources is international mineral sand and rare earth minerals company with expertise in exploration, development, mining, processing, marketing & rehabilitation.  This role will work closely with the IT Infrastructure team to assist the team to meet its strategic objective of consolidating IT infrastructure data repositories. This is an important role for Iluka Infrastructure as it undertakes an increasing workload due to exciting business growth.

Iluka will provide dedicated support/mentoring to ensure fulsome development opportunities alongside other IT graduates working concurrently.

Infrastructure Team support

The graduate will assist with consolidating the IT team"s many infrastructure data repositories. Iluka Infrastructure has recently moved to a modern SharePoint/Teams environment and now seeks to:

• Clean up the I: drive and other DFS shares so that they can be locked down
• Develop reporting and audit usage of I drive
• Assist with reporting on TRIM usage and the move of files from TRIM to SharePoint
• Assist with clean up and restructuring of old Udocs, Corporate library and other repositories
• Contribute to the standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines that IT Infrastructure creates and maintains
• Involvement with everyday BAU infrastructure tasks

Required Business Skills and Knowledge

This role will suit an individual with good communication skills (written & oral), who likes structure and process.

• Able to effectively collaborate within and external to the department and project teams
• Willingness to analyse and interpret business procedures and query process
• Patience to work through a document clean-up process across many drives
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities

Desired Business Skills

• Flexible 'can do approach, with a desire to improve personally and professionally
• Some working knowledge of and interest in IT infrastructure
• Understanding of the importance of business reporting

You must be working towards an undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in Information Systems / Management Information Systems or similar’

This Internship amounts to $17, 000 (Undergrad) or $19,000 (Postgrad) tax-free for 6 months. This amount is subjective to the number of hours worked.
