Allkem - IT Support Internship

Allkem Limited is a global lithium mining company (ASX:AKE) with offices in Australia, Canada, and Argentina.

The Perth office of Allkem is offering a 6-month Work Integrated Learning scholarship for a student to gain experience in IT Infrastructure support tasks. The successful intern will work under the guidance and support of a mentor to deliver on a variety of initiatives.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Learn how IT services are managed and delivered at an enterprise level

• Support staff in the use of ICT hardware, peripherals and software, and to assist the other members of the IT Services team

• Assist in the documentation of IT policies and procedures and prepare correspondence

• Troubleshoot entry-level general IT issues as required

• Communicate effectively with the team and business

Required knowledge and skills include:

• Knowledge of common ICT software and hardware systems (e.g. Office 365, Microsoft Windows)

• Strong communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Strong written skills

• Strong problem-solving ability

You must be studying towards a degree in Computer Science/ Software/ Engineering / Information Technology / Information Systems 

This Role amounts to $19,000 tax-free for an undergraduate or Post-graduate working full-time for 6 months.
