Graduate IT Asset & Commercial Analyst Intern

Iluka Resources is an international mineral sands company with expertise in exploration, development, mining, processing, marketing & rehabilitation. Iluka’s corporate offices are located in the CBD of Perth where this role will be based with some travel to operating or processing sites as required.

They are seeking an IT Asset and Commercial analyst intern whose focus will be on operational and administrative activities.  They must have strong communication skills and an interest in procurement and asset management. Previous experience in these disciplines would be highly regarded.

Role Responsibilities;

• Managing IT Procurement Requests and Incident tickets in ServiceNow, including peripheral purchases, software licensing, and assignment/reclamation of licenses (e.g. Adobe, ShareFile), and hardware assignment

• Raising PRs in Fiori and completing GR/SEs for the IT team

• Supporting software renewals by engaging vendors for quotes and negotiating pricing

• Ensuring compliance with the Iluka IT Procurement Standard, including routing agreements through appropriate review channels

• Updating and maintaining contract and asset data across ServiceNow, Ready Contracts, Billview, and reporting spreadsheets

• Monthly Billview (Telstra) reporting and maintenance of mobile phone asset data

• Updating and maintaining the IT asset database for both software and hardware

• Managing general application, licensing, and purchasing enquiries

Required Business Skills;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

You must be studying toward a post-graduate qualification related to Commerce / Asset Management / Procurement / Management Information Systems
