Supporting the Autism Academy

Did you know that the ACS Foundation supports the Autism Academy for Software Quality Assurance (AASQA)? In conjunction with Curtin University and other donors, we share a vision of harnessing the special talents of people with Autism. The capstone of the AAQSA program is the Neurodiverse Talent Internship which the ACS Foundation helps to administer.

The AAQSA program has three key aspects:


  1. Outreach to high school students

  2. Training and education support in ICT discipline areas

  3. Creation of work experience opportunities through internships.

Two training functions of the AASQA Program include:

  1. a training academy to train and certify software inspectors with Autism

  2. an enterprise to provide graduates of the Academy with employment opportunities
