The Role

We are looking for an individual to fill a dynamic opportunity that’s an emerging role within the industry, one that provides flexibility and engages in the best software development and test automation practices within the industry.

We are looking for a very proficient software developer, focusing on test automation along with diagnostic and business analysis to identify gaps in a release, code quality, work closely with developers to ensure we have coverage for testing but also where possible enhancing the platform via front end and back end coding practices.


Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure functional code Javascript and Dotnet code follows all development best practices, aligns itself to the OWASP principles and will not introduce unexpected regression.
  • Ensure all new features have as much coverage as needed to mitigate against live failures or regression.
  • Maintain existing test cases for reference and further documentation as needed and where possible migrate to the automation framework
  • Be a champion of excellence in the automation framework standards etc
  • Write/construct automated test cases using test automation tools or test code, with minimal supervision.

The candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/postgraduate degree at an Australian University. The scholarship amount for 12 months full-time is $38,000 tax-free for undergraduates and $42,000 for postgraduates.
