The Women of STEM scholarship provides successful applicants with AUD$5,000 per annum (maximum 5 years) and provides support to young women as they select and study STEM degrees at university and pursue careers in STEM-related roles.
This year, we received more than 200 applicants for the Women of STEM scholarship. We are proud to award scholarships to another 4 university students around Australia which means to date, 11 young women have received a Women of STEM scholarship to support them throughout their studies. The recipients of this year’s scholarships come from all around Australia (Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, and ACT). They are studying a variety of STEM degrees including science, engineering, and environmental science.
