The 2025 Big Day In (BDI) Sydney was hosted by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) on March 18th and 19th. The two-day brought together years 10-12 high school students, industry professionals, and educators to celebrate and explore the intersection of technology, innovation, and education. Since its inception in 2012, this annual student driven conference has gained popularity as a platform for networking, learning, and showcasing the latest career pathways into Australia's technology sector.

Event Highlights

The 2025 BDI Roadshow includes 10 high school excursions in key capital cities and regional centres along with 3 junior school incursions at selective primary schools. Each event has a host of speakers and presenters who are industry leaders and innovators. They share their insights and experiences to help prompt thought-provoking discussions on the future of technology, sustainable practices, and the role of education in shaping the workforce. Topics include areas such as:
